Numbers in English are quite easy to remember when counting. We can say them out loud by memory fairly easily. The complicated part is writing them down. ## How to spell numbers 1 to 10 in English

The first thing you need to know is to remember well how to write the numbers from 1 to 10 in English:

2. Two
3. Three
4. Four
5. Five
6. Six
7. Seven
8. Eight
9. Nine
10. Ten

Writing numbers like 2 and 3 in English are fairly common since we seen them in advertising, etc. all over the word. Once we start going into double digits, it can get a little trickier. However, it is important we learn the numbers 1 to 10 first. They are the basics of our learning and we use them in patterns for all other numbers.

## How to spell numbers 11 to 20 in English

The numbers in english from 11 to 20 have a particular name that you need to know and are spelled in a different way. This is how you write the numbers from 11 to 20:

• 11. Eleven
• 12. Twelve
• 13. Thirteen
• 14. Fourteen
• 15. Fifteen
• 16. Sixteen
• 17. Seventeen
• 18. Eighteen
• 19. Nineteen
• 20. Twenty

As you can see, besides from eleven and twelve, the next numbers are written adding -teen at the end. This is a pattern used for these numbers.
